Ayurvedic oils include Thailam, Kuzhambu, Keram, Sevyam and Avarthi.

Did you know?

The Thailam is an Ayurvedic oil that has its base with sesame oil, coconut oil, and sometimes mustard oil.

Kuzhambu on the other hand blends sesame oil, castor oil, and ghee using a method different to how Thailam is made.

Keram is usually prepared with coconut oil as its base.

While all the above oils are used externally, Sevyams are oils for internal use.
