Our Story

‘Jayabharatham Arya Vaidyasala’ was established in the year 1940 by P.O. Thomas Vaidyan (Vaidyakalanidhi) in Kollam district in the Indian state of Kerala. Jayabharatham Arya Vaidyasala was started with the prime aim of providing good treatment and medicines for the poor and deprived.

Dr. P.O. Thomas Vaidyan made no compromise when it came to maintaining the manufacturing of quality (Ayurvedic) herbal products.He dedicated himself to carrying out researches to modernize the system without giving up its traditional ways. His zest and accomplishments inspired us to follow his path with enthusiasm.

Proximity of our production base to the Western Ghats ensures a rich supply of fresh medicinal plants. Jayabharatham has more than 500 medicines and 55 cosmetic products, including 45 patented medicines in the market. Through the years we have expanded our products and services internationally and now export more than 130 ayurvedic herbal products to Europe, United Arab Emirates,United States of America, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Lakshadweep, Tajikistan and Malaysia.

The Jayabharatham Body & Soul is our new range of products that focuses on bringing authentic traditional ayurveda into modern day easy - to-use cosmetics. Our US FDA approved production facilities and treatment centers are developed to reach strict quality standards. We follow the traditional methods of manufacturing that are G.M.P (Good Manufacturing Practice) and ISO certified . Every medicine/product we prepare get tested in our own equipped laboratory before it reaches the market.

We firmly believe in living in harmony with nature and are against animal testing.
